The LBPA is a cornerstone of our community, serving as a place where businesses grow, people find meaningful employment, and innovation thrives.

This historic, economic hub has expanded over the years, and the LPBA continues to collaborate with members to provide support locally and beyond. With new transit connections and infrastructure improvements on the horizon, the LBPA is playing a crucial role in these transitions, ensuring our employment lands continue to thrive. I am so pleased to be able to support the LBPA and to help navigate municipal issues and challenges – thereby securing positive outcomes for our community and local businesses, as well as ensuring Leaside continues to be an ideal community to live, play and work.

The Leaside Residents Assn (LRA) and the
Leaside Business Park Assn (LBPA) were each
established over 50 years ago to serve the
respective interests of the Leaside residential
community and the Leaside business park,
making for a complete community.

The LRA
strongly supports the LBPA in its mission to
maintain the Business Park as a desirable
location to conduct business, to create
sustainable employment and to preserve the
Employment Lands. May we continue to
collaborate and work together for our common
interests.

The LBPA is essential to making Leaside a great place to do business in Ontario.

By fostering collaboration and advocating for smart investments in the community, the LBPA helps local firms innovate, grow, and compete. Today, businesses must focus on making productivity gains and driving growth. Now is the time for our local business leaders to shine.

Through its advocacy and business acumen, it has helped companies prosper and thrive in periods of economic growth and downturns, and hence ensuring their employees and customers are well-served.

For over 50 years, the Leaside Park Business Association has served businesses in the Leaside Business Park and, at the same time, the residents of Leaside and beyond. The Board of Directors have been tireless in their efforts to support this unique industrial park in Toronto.

I look forward to continued cooperation and engagement with the LPBA.

Even before the Industrial Park’s incorporation in 1918, the area, known as the Leaside Junction, has been the cornerstone of our community.

From farmland to factories, it created the jobs, homes, and infrastructure that built Leaside. The businesses and industries provide employment, and in return, employees and enterprises sustain our retailers and local services—ensuring the community’s continued prosperity. The Leaside Heritage Preservation Society is grateful for the LBPA’s ongoing advocacy and care in preserving this mainstay of our shared story.
